When I was a kid, I loved star wars, but as a kid, I treated everything like crap, played rough with figures, broke them, hit too hard with light sabers, broke them, collected the cards, bent them. I also did not have money to even start a serious collection. I am now much older, have a job that pays well, and am serious about starting a collection. After seeing the new episode 7 my interest in star wars re-ignited. I am not looking for anything in particular, just something that would be cool to display. I'm looking at getting a big glass case for my apartment to display my new light sabers (Which I am still waiting for wink wink) and maybe a helmet or 2. I'm looking for some cool display and talk pieces. Or anything to make my apartment look sweet. If you recommend a saber I like them to be 1:1 as well as the helmets. I don't know why, but the .45 replicas don't interest me. If anyone knows of a good site or would recommend a neat collectors item please let me know. Thanks!

Well the Redeemer is a pretty good replica of Obi-wan's ROTS lightsaber, the Prodigal Son does the same for Luke's ROTJ lightsaber, the Avenger is Obi-wan's TPM and AOTC lightsaber, the Guardian is Qui-Gon Jinn's, and that's about it for the movie lightsabers. See, these ones are lightsabers you can hit too hard with and still not break! I can testify to this, as I've already messed up a metal broom handle pretty bad with one. I need another lightsaber. And lighter-grade blades if I plan to duel.

Anovos has the license for really high-end replica costumes and helmets, but Hasbro's Black Series sabers and helmets are also worth mentioning.

Ive had great luck finding toys in great condition that were made decades ago at yard sales and clearance sections at marshalls and tjmaxx for star wars pictures/prints.

I found a beaten up yet still highly functional Hasbro purple TPM Obi saber a few years ago, which to me back then was like winning the lottery.

Oracle, Fury, Avenger, Bane, Katana
