Wondering if anyone wanted to help contribute to this, a little project I want to use to keep my (and that of newbies) saber chronology (based on SaberForge's line) in order. I've recently become interested in grabbing Revan's saber (pre-Sith), and I sure as heck don't want to screw this up and get laughed at at some convention or club or other for having the wrong saber.

Revan's SF chronology (as I know it):

Reborn
Fallen
Unknown

Obi-Wan Kenobi's SF Chronology (a bit easier):

Avenger
Redeemer
Exalted

Please add to/help me fix this.

I don't think the Exalted correlates with a character; it's a standalone thin neck.

Yeah you're right. The Exhalted isn't linked to any character. SF made it to offer its customers an activation box less Thin Neck inspired by the PS and tuhe Redeemer.

Guardian: Qui-gon Jinn (TPM)
Fury: Short lightsaber in KOTOR II? (Not sure...the emitter's shape looks similar, though)

Also touching on the Redeemer, standard finish is pretty close to Ep 3 Obi-Wan, while weathered has a different circuit board reminiscent of the Ep 4 Obi-Wan. I know the Upcoming Releases thread had a render of a more accurate Ep4 Obi with Graflex switch section and pommel d-ring, but not sure if that's still coming out.

Standard Prodigal Son is the Ep6 Luke Hero prop, while Weathered Prodigal Son is closer to the stunt saber shared between Luke in Ep 6 and Obi-Wan in Ep4. Prodigal Son can also be used with a Yellow blade for Leia's saber in the Force Unleashed II Dark-Side DLC mission.

Reliant is based on the Force Unleashed II concept saber before the design was changed mid-production. Can still be seen in some loading screens of the PC version.

Bane is based on the novel description of Darth Bane's lightsaber (two-handed curved saber with a claw)

Someone correct me of I'm wrong, but I think Gladius is a SWTOR hilt?

Was not the Vigilant used by Anakin Skywalker during the colosseum battle?

Yes. It's your first lightsaber, I believe, as a Jedi.

Possibly, but I think the main use was as Ki-Adi-Mundi's saber:

Hi Everyone,

During the Geonosis Arena Battle (AOTC) one of the Jedi who arrived on the gunships threw a Lightsaber to Anakin to use as his was destroyed in the Droid factory. Here is a picture of him using it along with Obi-Wan's Saber whilst he fights Dooku.

Here is the Saberforge Vigilant

This design of saber has been described elsewhere as a "clan saber" which was a basic standard design a lot of Padawans built during their training.

Be that as it may, notice that the saber in Anakin's left hand looks like Obi-Wan's saber, yet Obi-Wan has always used a blue saber.

In other words, Lucas got lazy with his sabers.

Hi Eddlyss64,

There is a website that lists ALL the continuity errors and mistakes, plot holes etc in the saga and this is one of those mistakes listed. I will have a Google and find the link as I don't have it to hand and edit it into my post. I just remembered that this pic was fairly clear showing the hilts in question.

Also fellow member Nausicaa started a thread chronicling the In-Universe Lightsabers and their owners, it can be found here:

In-Universe Lightsabers Thread

It isn't a list of Sabers Saberforge has created/built and their owners, but it may still be of interest.

The custom sabers FB group had a close-up front shot and it's clearly bunny ears as well.

Hi Mousse_Gallon,

Thank you for the link but I referenced that site on Nausicaa's thread as a source of information!
I was one of the contributors to that thread along with Snakeyez99.

I think it is a good site.

kind regards,

No kidding, General Grevious in Ep3 has one Graflex (in green) and one of Obi-Wan's lightsaber (In blue, I think).
The above post may be subject to editing. A lot of editing.

To be fair, in Grievous' case, not all sabers have unique parts; Luke's RotJ saber being a case in point. But yeah, it does ultimately feel pretty lazy.
