So I bought an Acolyte Warrior Edition a while back, and I know you can send in a Warrior Tier Lightsaber and upgrade it to a Champion Tier Lightsaber, and I know this costs around $150. About how long does this upgrade take, and does it go through This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ?

It goes through their sales email. I recently opted to upgrade my warrior to champion (before receiving the item even) and I was directed to sales, rather than customs.

You'd have to send an email to (I believe) This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , but do NOT quote me on that.

Do you already have the saber?

Yes I do already have the saber. I was planning on sending it in and getting it upgraded to Champion Tier, and was wondering how long the upgrade usually takes.

Your question cannot be answered by anyone on the Forum. At best you would get an estimate from someone here that would not reflect the current state of their business which would determine how long the upgrade would actually take. Send an email 2 sales and get the answer from them don't look for it here.

Custom shop does not do sound upgrades on Warrior tier sabers. If you are looking to have a factory saber modified or customized you would send it there. Sound install upgrades are done at the main Factory.

Last time I looked at doing this, which was last November, so you may want to double check, here was the process:

1. Print out an RMA form from the main website
2. Fill out the information and explain the upgrade you want done to the saber on the form. (Sound, 12W+ upgrade, QCs, etx.)
3. Mail your saber into SF with the RMA form.
4. SF will use the contact information on the form to send you an invoice.
5. Pay the invoice, and it will take 1-2 weeks to be completed.
6. SF sends the hilt back to you.
7. Rejoice!
