Hey all! Quick questions that I couldn't find answers to in the FAQ or with a quick forum search.
Just got my first Saber, an Acolyte Champion Edition with the Viridian soundfont. It's fantastic, but I had some tweaks I'm hoping to make to the sound that I couldn't find any answers on.
1. Is it possible to turn off the voice that says "Saberforge Viridian" when I turn on the saber? I never want to hear this.
2. Is it possible to disable the blaster sound that plays whenever I tap the Power button while the blade is on? I keep accidentally pressing it while gripping the saber, and can't imagine any situation where I would ever want to play that sound. It's just not a sound that a lightsaber makes, and something I always have to explain to anyone who picks up the lightsaber for the first time.
3. Is it possible to disable the clash or swing sounds, and have it only play the hum? This one isn't so important, just something I'm curious about.
I suspect that I'm out of luck, since I went with the Champion version instead of the Hero one, but I figured I'd ask.
1. No, this is the boot sound (the sound that plays that tells you the soundboard is functioning properly when turned on). On other boards that have programmable/multiple soundfonts, it also states which one is selected, but can be replaced with a short loop of silence, but it's recommended to have something so you know it's working.
2. Again, no. This is the auxiliary sound that's mapped to the activation button. On the Crimson soundboard it's Sith Lightning.
3. Perhaps if you turn the sensitivities up all the way to make them really hard to trigger.
Note that the reasons 1 and 2 aren't available are that the Sabercore boards aren't programmable, but the trade off is that the volume, flicker speed, swing and clash sensitivities can be adjusted in hilt on the fly without having to to plug into a computer
