It's a great hilt. Comfortable and versatile for dueling if you go that route. Congrats!

Thanks! I was worried at first that the fins would be uncomfortable, but after reading several reviews on here that stated much to the contrary, my concerns were put to rest.

As for dueling, I just have to convince my friends to buy one too... they're all sitting in the "really want but not sure I can justify the purchase" mindset, but I'm hoping once they see it in person that will push them over the edge

This may be a good opportunity (for Reborn purchases direct from Main Site) to determine if design alterations have been applied. Reborn to be delivered as it's always been associated, one continuous piece of Emitter claw to Body Spines or if it will become sectional like it appears through ASP. It seems logical to assimilate the two through integration rather having each independent to another from a business/stock holding POV. Understandable before with the categorisation of Etsy Limited Edition Release but now as part of the line-up, who knows?

Based on the pictures on the site (which include the newer dual tone finish scheme, which has the spines being both black and silver), it looks like it is all one piece. They could be using the same main body pieces for both ASP and prebuilt, but just different sets of spines for each (single piece for prebuilt, sectional for ASP). Then again they could be completely different; the prebuilt Fury and Exalted bodies still have the switch holes in them instead of in a separate switch piece, and the prebuilt Juggernaut has the thin piece between the control box and emitter that is absent if built via ASP

Personally, if I wanted a Reborn, I'd get it prebuilt (empty, then either ASP electronics or from elsewhere) rather than getting it via ASP. Prebuilt also has the unique blade plug, and you wouldn't have to worry about lining up all the spine pieces (which would drive me INSANE).

Side thought: I wonder if SF will offer a "do a regular install on my ASP hilt" option, at least until lit AV switches, recharge ports, or even a hero tier kit is released (if they even happen).

Noted. I recall reading an exchange between RyanRising and Zeddicuus about the retention screw positioning on a former VF versus a more recent VF in that it seemed more consistent to locations depicted in ASP. I'm still none-the-closer to knowing.

Agreed. A lot of ASP Reviews are showing a baggie of timing-shims included as standard to cater for that alignment. Still wouldn't be much more fiddly than re-wiring for example.

I'd imagine it would be available. However logistically, especially for international deliveries, I want to hope it can be accommodated to have the upgrade done on order rather than sending it back in.
