My good news is that My Venom Saber arrived the day before yesterday, and I was beyond excited. I've been waiting since December 29th. I won't complain about the wait, as I was well aware of lead time.

First off, this Saber is beautiful! The sound is louder than I expected, and the quality is simply Amazing. I'm beyond happy with my purchase.

Having said this however, the speaker in the bottom of the hilt is loose. I can put my finger on it (gently without denting the plastic cover) and it's definitely moving.

Is there a way to access this lower portion of the hilt to see what has come loose? I'm afraid to duel/swing my saber around till its fixed. Also, I want to make sure if I can look at whats going on, that I do not void the warranty on the saber.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks gang!

Trent the pommel should unscrew and give access to the speaker. Normally the speaker is retained by one of these C-clips. Is there one installed? If not, they forgot it!

Yes, that is there, and doesn't look like that piece has moved from when I first looked unscrewed the bottom and looked at speaker (upon the saber arriving)

Hmmm, you say the speaker moves. Possible the gap between the back of the speaker and the battery has changed, allowing the speaker to move in the direction toward the switches?
Is this correct?

Im not exactly sure...I can't figure out how to open the saber..So i cant determine what has loosened. but the speaker is moving more toward the battery section.

Okay, it looks like that C-clip may have come loose somehow. I managed to move it further into the hilt, and its now snug against the speaker. I'm hoping that's all it was.

Usually the back side of the speaker rests against the battery. The C-clip allows for it all to fit nice and snug, but it seems as if there has been a slight shift toward the switches. There's no internal chassis in a SF hilt. they kinda rely on the sandwich method. Send an email to Let a CSR know about your problem(This email address is being protected from spambots.
