Hello all, after receiving my saber finally i seem to be having a small problem. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this and if so maybe they can help me out. I find myself wanting to take it everywhere with me. Its my first true high quality lightsaber and its been very hard to put it down for extended periods of time. However "society" has made it socially unexceptable to wear it all the time. Meaning to work and to the store and such. Has anyone else had this problem? B)

Hi Sepultura510,

I did suffer the problem of not wanting to put mySaber down when I received mine, I think we all have. However the Galaxy is full of different "Societies" and as such some may not like the idea of us carrying our pride and joy around with us. As long as you are not breaking any Laws of State/Land or Rules of Employment, then carry your Saber proudly! Just because other people may not understand our hobby does not mean we have to "Hide" it. As long as we accept other people's hobbies and don't question them, then we should feel secure in our hobby. The folks on this forum understand you so....

Remember...the Forge (Members) will be with you.....always!

I totally get you on this. I just look at it like this:

Those times when I cannot carry my saber make me appreciate even more, those times when I can. Plus, I think it is better, and more gratifying to carry it in places where folks who can appreciate it are found, rather than those who quote rules for why you cannot do it.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

I am glad you brought this up. :) I found myself taking it to the car and then leaving it there when we would go to a movie or something. I seem to remember in a video one of the employees at Saberforge saying he wears his everywhere and it got him out of a speeding ticket. I would think an odd shaped thing like that would concern a police officer.

I may just have to try that! I knew I had a child for a reason... ;)

So whatever happened with your impressive order and the "May the Fourth" giveaway situation? I hope it went in your favor.
