Hey All,
Anyone know if the leather wraps are real leather? How do they stand up to time, do they get dirty, scuffed, ripped, frayed, lose? Thanks! |

Good question im getting mine in a leather wrap aswell (ohhh the wait) and just assumed... lol you know what happens when you do that. so ummm bumping for answer?

Wookie Wonka is terrifying.
On the topic of leather wraps they are real leather. As long as the glue adhering them to the hilt remains intact they age very well (kinda a "duh" answer, sorry). |

The regular leather is real leather. The stingray leather is not real stingray. Not sure about reptile. I think not real.

If you asked about this in the comments in etsy, if your polite they will do whichever wrap you want. You can look at the wraps on the website and ask for them by name. In the correspondence i got they were pretty helpful and patient with a first timer just fyi

Seems like the question is about the quality of leather, not if you can choose whatever wrap you want. |

The stingray and reptile or most colored wraps are likely bonded leather which is the lowest quality of leather. Bonded leather offers the most versatility in print and color.
I'm not sure on the plain brown leather, but it has a greater chance to be at least genuine leather which is the next step up in quality. |
