Well the Bastion is packed to go back to have the assembly corrected. The charge port was not secured/completed and the unit wouldn't power.

SF customer service has been responsive and set me up with a return label. They've been great with handling things so far, though it disappointing I won't have it for my wife's birthday.

They also gave me the ok to file down the rough edges on the Venomous Fury, so I'll be working on that soon. Once I have everything ready, reviews will follow. Hopefully the repair turnaround is quick.

Got some good news on my front.
My Saber completed its build and has been shipped out since Sept 16.
Landed on west coast of Canada and waiting for its final postal stop till it reaches my house.
On a humorous side, i was wondering why Canada Post taking so long to send to me. Found out their new delivery method of transport (see picture). LOL

Would have had mine today if the carrier had just left it at the door, like what happened with my first saber. Now, I'll have to wait until after work tomorrow to collect my Guardian. Oh, well, just a little more of a test in patience.

Received my saber. It is a HERO-TIER Bane Weathered.

i'm speechless.
placed order on 26.9, was expecting 7/8 weeks before entering manufacturing due to sales+halloween.
just got the mail that it entered processing, 5-15 before shipping.
the wait begins...

Well I'm on day 13 business day of the 5-15 business days. My nerves have been pretty okay up until a few days ago and I realized I'm getting close to getting my sabers. Now I check the tracking number at least 4 times a day. Hell I even checked on Sunday even though I knew it didn't change. I know I have two sabers being built and I pretty much knew this order would go over the business days mark due to 1. ordering a Monarch 2. upgrading the Christmas in July saber to a champion tier. Whats funny I am making this wait even worse.

Halloween is coming up. I miss taking my kids out. My girlfriend's sister has a little 3 year old girl that loves Star Wars and I have trying to get a good reason to play with the sabers. So I decided to make a story that runs right with the Canon story line. I have spent the last two days writing this story. The people that are going to play the characters is myself, my girlfriend, her sister and the little girl. We are all are going to make our costumes and when we are going to go trick or treating we are going to act the story. For example like I'll take the little girl up to a door and knock on it the normal trick or treat thing happens and while this is happening I sense danger near by and then a saber duel happens with two sith. in short. Theirs more to it but you get what I'm getting at. And doing this is making want my sabers even worse now.... uuuuuugggggg. I can't wait for this wait to be over. Oh if anybody is interested in the story When I'm done with it I can post it on the forums somewhere. From what I got and the ideas i came up with. It's not to shabby at all. I'm quite impress I came up with this story. Well I will update when the bundle of joys are on their way to my hands

My wife's Bastion Weathered Hero appears to be on the way back from repair. Though we missed her birthday do to the malfunction snafu, I'm glad we'll have it for Halloween and some other costume events coming up.

With my Venomous Fury, I filed some of the rough edges and used my rebate from the Memorial Day sale for some parts and day blades. I swapped out the VF pommel with #9 from ASP. It gives it a custom look and looks pretty sick along with the #6 blade plug. I'll get some photos and reviews up soon once I have the other unit in and tested.

Recently ordered an initiate Vengeance hilt from the etsy page, and just got its shipping notice today! Looking forward to seeing how this thing looks in person, as well as installed with electronics!

Got a Hero Tier (RGBA) Crystal Reveal Prodigal Son on the way! It has entered the build phase, so the time grows short!

I know, I know. Why wait to announce it until the wait is almost over? Same reason Deadpool wears the red suite...so you can't see me bleed.

Still waiting on my Hero ASP electronics kit, but besides that I just received an email at 8 last night (right before closing time in Oregon on a 9-5 schedule, props to Melissa for staying productive up until closing!) that my Gladius switch section is on its way. There was an issue with the threading on one end that was preventing it from attaching to both my emitter and body sections.

Probably the last major purchase I make for a while... recently got blindsided by a doctor's bill that my insurance decided it wouldn't completely cover for some reason. Plus I have enough preorders in the pipeline to keep me satisfied until December, including the collector's edition of Dishonored 2 and the wearable Protoman helmet and scarf combo Capcom's putting out.

Well looks like this will be my final update. My package was picked up 4:30 this afternoon from the Forge. I'm so excited. Okay This is the complete order time. Ordered July 12 and was put in build queue Sept. 15 and Shipped Oct. 6 12 weeks 2 days or 86 days from start to finish. The 15 business day build time was up yesterday so not bad estimating. It should arrive this Saturday. When I get the package I'll do a video unboxing and give my first impressions on both sabers and then after about a week or so of testing and playing around with them I'll do a full written review.

Just ordered my ASP saber I can't wait to get it

It's been 1 month, just 1 month! It feels like an eternity and I still have another month to go. It's killing me!
