Now it might just be my eyes or the resolution on my macbook but the blood orange on the store page looks not much different from red. Could someone message me in the Facebook saber group a pic of the Blood Orange please?

I am going to go out on a limb here and say I tend to agree....well mostly. Red is red and Blood Orange is Lava colored. I personally prefer my 12w+ Red to my Blood Orange. However, the difference is there. I personally (may be my eyes) have to look at the Blood Orange carefully to identify it. I am a big believer it matching the color to the saber. Blood Orange on the right hilt can look good!

A big factor here is the type of blade used. On the standard 37" V4 Infinity blade, my 12W+ Red LED looks less red than on its own without any blade (shine through). The Red LED is unquestionably red and the Blood Orange different to Red, but with the standard blade in, the Red LED looses its true redness and looks orange-red, more red than orange. I can see why some members have commented the similarity.

I don't have a red LED to compare against, but I can definitely tell that the Blood Orange is a mix of Red and Orange, giving it a deep lava shade. These 2 photos may help, if you look at the glow given off on the wall and clothes.

There must be both dark and light. I will do what I must to keep the balance, as balance is what holds all life.

Execute66 just posted a great video comparing the Relic and Templar cross guard sabers. One is red and the other blood orange.

The first video shows them without blades and indoors, which I think really highlights the color difference. The second vid is outside and bladed, and while it's harder to see the difference, it's definitely still there.
