I thought they start making your saber when you recieve the shipping email, and actually ship it when you get the pre shipment. Is that so?

At this point, the majority of your saber parts are in a bin waiting for the last component. This is just a guess on my part. Contact customer service to get the real story.

ScottK Offline New Member Posts: 9 Thank you received: 5	Don't know that it's that abnormal. When I entered the build queue on my saber, it was about 2 1/2 weeks before the saber actually shipped. I'd gotten a little concerned, and had contacted CS, where I found out that build can take 2-3 weeks. Hang in there, I'm sure you won't regret the wait when it arrives.

I also emailed the CS if there's a part shortage or something.

Wow thats an intense waiting on pre-shipment

Here is the reply I got:

Once the order transitions to “Shipped” status, your order is placed in the production queue for final assembly and installation. From here, it generally takes between 5-15 business days for the hilt to undergo full installation, quality control, and be packaged and physically shipped out. The tracking number you were provided will update when your package has been received by the USPS, and you can follow it's progress by tracking it on their website. You can also sign up for email or text alerts on USPS.com so you can be notified when your order leaves our facility!
