Not sure what I did but my PS Hero tier won't turn on. It's worked fine the past few days and I was changing some of the fonts on the SD card. Then tonight it wouldn't turn on. I even deleted the whole SD card and put back the original set up. Still nothing. I've checked that the SD card is all the way in and I've charged it. Any thoughts or anyone else experience this? Any help would be appreciated.

I even deleted the whole SD card and put back the original set up. Still nothing.
I haven't experienced this personally before and a search of Archived Posts didn't return anything conclusive either. When you write 'deleted', is it just that or did you 'format'? Sometimes during file edit or in cases of file corruption, the action of just deleting doesn't wipe-it-clean. Try formatting the SD and if (for any reason) the corruption exists with the backed-up copy, you can always download the default files from NEC. Can you think of any other actions you may have been performing prior to it not working (and after the time it was)?

I only deleted it. I'll try formating it instead this morning and see if I have any luck. That was the only thing I did. Downloaded a few saber fonts from saberfont.com and put them on the card. I also changed the color die settings to the correct RGB for C1, C2, C3 and then Amber for their Crystal pad which is C4 I think. I even tried switching all that back and nothing from the saber. |

That was the only thing I did. Downloaded a few saber fonts from saberfont.com and put them on the card.
 Is there ever a time when the visit to Saberfonts has you leaving with just the one? Simply too many to choose from.I really hope that the task of formatting the card works. When it came to the die settings being correctly assigned, was it responsive after these changes? Other than Fonts, I've never found the need to overwrite anything else or even enable the Aux-Twist function for colour change. As I run a 6/6/12 Setup, the method I use when 'tinkering' is manual field/data edit instead of via the Config. Editor. This is what I was shown and what I have been following. I know HotRod and Snakeeyz99 are regulars here and run RGBA+ Setups as there are others that are more familiar with SC2 Board, hopefully they can chime in with some assistance also. |

Ok so just reformatted the board but no luck. It still won't turn on. Any other troubleshooting I should try? It takes a charge so I know the battery is working. The LED on the charger was red last night and green this morning.

  . Without any accuracy, it may be isolated to the board. I just scanned through the SC2 Manual remaining hopeful however nothing there to reference. In addition to waiting for user-feedback from other Members, I have done this a couple of times before and he has been very responsive and helpful, send an email direct to Naigon. Just wanted to update this. SFCS did respond and it's possible one of the wires is not soldered well to the board. So I will be sending this saber back. Already did the RMA. So the box will contain both of my new sabers as my CR PS has a wobble at the emitter attachment to the body. SFCS has been helpful so far in solving the issue. Hopefully I'll have a fast turn around time for both and I'll report back once I get them in my hands again.
