New sale guys. Not got much idea on details as to free $1000 saber tier or anything yet, but I'm sure someone will find out soon. Will update the post if/when I find out

And for those wondering, the August10 code does NOT stack with the KS/IGG backer one. I just checked and the checkout only accepts one coupon code.

And it seems SF is having a sale every month now.

Great another fricken sale that offers a better price, freebies, and drives the lead and shipping times up. I'm starting to question waiting for my order when everyone else is getting a better deal, and freebies while the que gets bigger and wait gets longer.

Hey guys, just one piece of feedback if possible and this is so other people know. But I would like to point out the extras are measured by the USD spent. I kind of missed out on the apprentice empty hilt last sale. Which is understandable, the customer service people on Etsy explained it well and apologised for the inconvenience. But I wanted to make mentiom incase anyone else from Australia or other countries decide on making a purchase.

Also special thanks to OvrcAHst for also providing tips by checking Etsy both in local and US currency.

I want to make sure no one else gets mislead.

But its tempting me now to put an order down for a mauler and electronics for a Graflex 2.1 i bought from someone :joy:

Eddlyss64 sorry for my morning rant. I was just feeling low, and seeing the new sale kinda rubbed me the wrong way is all....I apologize to all for my outburst.

I feel so silly...I always wanted the new Phoenix stand and a couple of blade plugs and kill keys to go with...But LazerForge has never been included in any sale so far...

When I noticed that ShopSaberParts.com has the items that I wanted, and the site is included in this sale, my heart was jumping with joy

Only for me to realize that their shipping cost to my country is USD 30 more expensive than LF due to ASP's default and only shipping selection of USPS Priority...bummer

Well...back to LF then, I guess...

Things sure have changed around here. Little over half a year ago all we read in the forum is endless wait time, First it's 6-8 weeks then it's 8-10 weeks, then it's 10-12 weeks. The KS or IGG backers waiting for seemingly forever in the dark, with no end in sight. SF is making 300 hilts a day with orders double that amount coming in. Never mind sales, we had a price increase on the horizon. Etsy shop was on hiatus because the wait time there was no better than the main shop and it too was adding to the mountain or orders entering the system. Then the custom shop also went dark because everyone was making hilts to fill the backlog of orders. It was dark here, everyone was waiting for news of not ours but anyone getting their saber because it means there is hope for us ... waiting ... in the dark.
Then light broke through the darkness and the sun started to shine. The KS backers started to post news about receiving their ASP perks. Then the IGG backers started to get theirs perks. Many Etsy shop sabers migrated to the main site. Then there was a sale. The Brax told us there was better news, he just needed the "man " to okay the news release. we waited and waited and waited and waited and waited, and still the man would not release the news. we all had major blue balls this must be what Sting feels like after a night of tentric sex. I don't even remember what the "news" ended up to be because by then we have all fainted from the anticipation. Then ASP shop started a soft opening on the IGG site and the shipping was measured in days and not weeks or months. In the midst all that excitement the Etsy store reopened. It had many sabers available with shipping that was even shorter than the ASP. a lucky person even got their saber in 3 days!! A miracle!! considered most of us have been waiting a quarter of a year for our saber. Then came the sales, not the once a year sale and not just buy $X dollars and we will give you a free stuff but an actually % off and a sale once a month. Hallelujah!!
I went from waiting 4 months for a saber to juggling 3 in two months. We have come far.

The Order Notes' items and discount are offered and honoured by SF. The Code input and acceptance is by Etsy. With Etsy's quick-ship Model where virtually immediately soon after Order is placed and confirmed, it transitions to Shipped rendering any amendments impossible (or only enables a small monitored window to do so).

Allowing up to say 2Days for a reply to an Etsy Message sent, having experienced this oversight before, SFCS may be able to amend or they may not (this is at their discretion as matters are typically handled on a case by case principle). This depends on how far the Order has advanced in the queue from ordering. What I did (differing on two occasions) was submit the 'Send Cancellation Request' Tab and reorder ensuring all has been entered and then wait (about) 5Days for the Credit to be returned from the Cancellation so you're financially whole again. Or 'Send Cancellation Request', wait for the Credit to be returned and when Funds are available to you, start again.

With the promo maturing August 22, the latter method may bump you out of eligibility. Hope the response you seek from SFCS is received promptly and returns a favourable outcome to you.

I was curious, and tried out the August10 code on the LazerForge site, and it worked, even though it isn't listed as being part of the sale. Good if you just want some of SF's laser cut products and don't want the flat $10 shipping rate from the ASP site.
