I was dueling someone at a con and when I hit them it popped my blade out. I'm not a newbie to the saber hobby so I had it tightened. But I've got these shavings that came out when I removed the screw. The blade won't stay secure properly now and wobbles.

Has anyone had something like this happen before? Is there anything I can do to solve this or do I need to contact Saberforge about it?

Hi Samhain138,

 The Dark Side is strong with you, you smashed your Templar's main blade.

It's only a blade. I assume the magnificent Templar is all good. Email SF, they might send you a new blade.

Unfortunately I fear it's not an issue with the blade and it has more to do with the main blades retention screw.

Yep. Sounds like it got stripped. Or the hole got stripped. It's just a matter of figuring out which, because if it's just the screw, easy fix. If it's the hole, you'll need to send the entire hilt in.

It sounds like you stripped it. Is there visible damage on the set screw or does the screw look fine but the bore on the saber is damaged? If it's the saber you would have to contact Saber Forge customer support and you should be covered by the warranty cause it covers all dueling damage I believe. If it's just the screw that's damaged you can go buy an #8-32 set screw from any hardware store for like 19 cents.
