I have two questions about the sale:

1 - Are the free items compounded, like for example, I order over $300, do I get the $300 free item and the $100 free item, or do I only get one?

2 - Is the qualifying cart total for the free item before or after the coupon code is used?

1) You get both if you write in the order comments that you want both.

2) After the coupon code.

:) You're welcome.

 Is this confirmed with any accuracy? Previous Promotions prior to the current Halloween Sale have featured direct wording to 'combinable', where this one doesn't?

I'm assuming free items can be combined. I'll write it in my order. (Not that I really need yet another blade plug or a stand, although I don't have a SF Spear Extension :P ).

Anyway if in doubt, you can always send SF an email to check how it works. Simple.

The wording of this one is "Free items must be claimed in order notes," and since 'items' is plural it implies combinable to me. Plus coming off the Fall sale where the free items were combinable it would be weird if this one weren't.

 Very Simple. So umm what's the purpose of Open Topics as a Subsection and the OPs Topic enquiring the same and virtually every other question raised for clarification in the Forums entirety if it simply defers to SFCS by email? I've asked questions just as you've asked questions so just how selective is this condition?

Valid point. Item's is plural however interpretation can also reference that there are 3 item(s) and not just one, suggesting the claiming of any of the three is done so using the same method but doesn't necessarily equal all three. The perception may well be weird but something that's happened before doesn't translate to will be equal-to and happen again. :P

My point was some questions may well be answered easily by experienced members here who have engaged with SF. Other questions may be less obvious, so an email to SF is a simple route.

With the current sale, I'm going in with order comments anyway to claim the lot.

So since you don't need any more plugs or Stands, just keep the spear extension and put the former two with the rest of the plugs in the Tupperware and I'll grab them from you
(once I figure out where The Emperor resides now). ;)
