Hi everyone. I am relatively new to the Star Wars Universe and this is my very first purchase from any custom saber store. I recently read the Bane series and from what i have read so far this is one of the most well written of the Star Wars. Of course when I found this site with a Bane that matches the description and my imagination I had to buy it
 . Wish me luck I hope it comes as nice as the pics portray! I ordered a weathered Champion with red color blade. I got the weathered because in the book Bane was gifted this hilt when he was training. So I figured it was used a bit before hand.... Don't know if it will fit in the stand or not I got with the Father's Day promo (asked for it instead of the belt) but I am excited! Mostly to see the look on my 4 year old who is really into Star Wars and duel's with me regularly with our cheap FX sabers.

I think you would be very pleased with this saber, even if you had other custom sabers. However, as this is your first one, I would say you have jumped in at the DEEP end, gone VERY large, and will subsequently be happier than is humanly possible. Now multiply that by a factor of 100, and you will have an idea of how excited and happy your son will be.
Of course, that is just a prediction, so you will be good enough to tell me how close I got...won't you?

Very nice choice... I'm waiting on a Bane myself as well. The wait is sooo killer. But sooo worth it when that beauty finally shows up in that lovely little triangular box, lol.

you and your 4 year old are in for an awesome time when that saber comes in, speaking from experience, the first saber i got from SF totally surpassed my expectations and i hope you will say the same when it comes in!
Great saber choice if i say so myself, and especially since you have knowledge of the character and saber itself from the EU i think it will only add to you enjoying it more! be sure to come on back and post some pics when it comes in! best of luck and enjoy!! |

Well its official! The Bane is on the workbench confirmed and as a last minute request I managed to get the 12W + LED upgrade in red!!!!! I am super stoked and I can't wait to post pics of the upgraded LED when I get the saber. I am sure I drove Saberforge nuts trying to get the upgrade while it was being assembled. I got two emails one saying it could happen and one saying it couldn't but the team working with Etsy pulled through for me! Saberforge has awesome customer service and I am very satisfied so far!
