Hey People,

I recently acquired a SF Vanquish (Stunt), which might I add is a wonderful piece that I could not recommend enough. I have however been looking into some of the other parts offered by SF (specifically the rebel emitter. It is beautiful!!!) and wanted to know if the Vanquish, being a curved hilt, would support any other emitters as standard, or would it require additional modification (i.e. me sending to yourselves)?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but appreciate any feedback. Also think the Vanquish with a rebel emitter would look awesome. Thank you.

The short answer is no, the way it's built is very unique to it, I currently have one in pieces waiting on parts, and the emitter section doesn't screw on, it's slid on to the two halfs of the curved handle and then bolted down. Same go for the pommel end, with the exception that the pommel is screwed on, it can be mixed with asp pommels

The emitter seems to be made of two halves -- the top half being threaded onto the bottom half, which is the part that slips over and its screwed onto the curved body.

One of the TSL (The Saber Legion) members had a Vanquish that he recently sold with a Gladius emitter, and looking at mine there seems to be a timing shim right where the Gladius emitter is attached to his that leads me to believe that there is a threaded part there. Pic yoiked, cropped and rotated from one of the FB groups:

I also seem to remember Morgan Garrett mention it had swappable emitters and pommels.

The SF Vanquish is compatible with ASP emitters and pommels. Only the switch section is permanently a part of the main curved body. I have one myself with emitter 1 and pommel 4.

Having some difficulty removing the emitter and don't want to break my saber. Any advise on how you safely removed yours?

To remove the emitter, you just have to unthread it. You should loosen the LED retention screw first if it's an installed lightsaber.

Keep in mind that if you purchased it already installed by SF, there's a good chance they glued the threads.

Thanks Guys,

Good news is I got my new emitter through (the rebel), but the bad news is that it looks like the threads have indeed been glued :/ fortunately I have a heat gun and clamp, but still cant get this thing to shift.

Hoping its just me being too gentle, as dont really want to break it and have to send it to a sabre smith if I can help it. I'll update and post pictures once i make some progress.
