Hey! Sorry if it's been asked before but was just curious, if one were to buy a two sabers one with sound and the other without and then attach them as a staff, how off would the sound be? Since it's coming out the center of the staff would it be that off? I only ask as I'm getting my paycheck Friday and seriously considering snagging a second saber in champion addition but ONLY if the sound would work with just one (as my first order is just a warrior edition)
Can anyone answer that? Darth Mario? Or anyone with the experience of? |

Sound would be fine with only one saber as a champion, problems (if they can even be called that) lie in other areas, lol. For example, champion sabers use momentary switches, warriors latching, so powering the warrior saber side off during spins and such is going to be a hassle, depending on the hilt style. Also not going to have matching lit AV switches, one side will be lit, the other not, and to charge the warrior side, you'll have to disassemble the staff to get the battery out, whereas you can just plug the other side in with the in-hilt recharge. Also, warrior sabers aren't as customizable with the LED, such as the blade flicker... if you wanted the blade flicker to be an option for both sides, going to have to go with champion on both sides. Warriors are just on or off. So there's a few things like that to think about... but soundwise? You'll be fine.

I had thought of that! I was just hoping to get sound a bit quicker and a bit cheaper (while still making a staff) until I have enough to send my first saber back in for a champion upgrade! That was super helpful! Thanks! Edit: So is there a way to up the price/design to champ tier before it's shipped? Cause now I want to. |

Contact SF, usually as long as it hasn't hit the workbench yet, they can make changes/adjustments to your order, including just that.
Either send them a message via Etsy, if you ordered on there, or email em if you ordered on the site.

I sent em a message. Hopefully my saber goes with the schedule and isn't on the bench before Friday
 (never thought I'd say that). I'll get my check deposited Friday afternoon/Saturday morning. Checked my account today and I'm a bit short without it :[
