So i purchased a Warrior tier consular recently, the blade feels surprisingly good in my hands after years of Shinai and the everything looks wonderful. however i'm having some issues charging it... i think. I have the 12W battery with charger and it has been on the charger for almost 12 hours now. The charger is blinking red and I thought I saw some where else that this indicated it was charging but it is taking so long I'm getting a little concerned. Can anyone clarify what the indicators mean?

I have only had mine for a few weeks so I can't say if it is normal for it to take 12 hours, I've just plugged mine in before going to bed if the battery is dead and it's charged when I remember to look at it later in the day. It's a smart charger so there is no worry of it overcharging the battery.

MrSynergy Offline Premium Member Posts: 127 Thank you received: 28	The initial charge on the battery can sometimes take a looong time. If this is your first time charging it, I wouldn't worry too much. If it goes over 16 hours, then it might be cause for concern.

NeBosa Offline Platinum Member Do no harm, but take no shit. Posts: 921 Thank you received: 270	It usually takes a long time for the first charge to occur and time will lessen after that. Happened with me and my first warrior tier saber as well and mine took as long to charge also (11-12hr range)

ehkrickor Offline New Member Posts: 2	Awesome thanks guys, I wasn't sure, some of my other smart chargers use blinking red to indicate a problem rather than indicate charging so i figured i would double check.
