Hello all, I just bought my first saber from SF. I bought the Champion Edition Acolyte 12W, Red, Veridium Core, w/ 37" Blade. I'm a bit nervous as this will be my first lightsaber since owning a Master Replicas Anakin I bought 8-10 years ago. Can anyone share their experiences with me? It came down to this or Ultrasabers, but upon doing some research SF seems to offer a better quality product, plus I like the hilts from SF a lot more.

I have three SF sabers in my house currently, and used to own 4 UltraSabers. Not only do I believe you made the right decision on which company to go with, I think you are in for a pleasant surprise at how awesome that Acolyte is going to be!
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

Definitely read the Saber Forge FAQ; it'll help you to understand what to expect since this is your first time buying from them. I decided on SF after window shopping the big saber names out there. In terms of cost and quality SF hit my sweet spot.

  • Fear is not real. It is the product of thoughts you create. Danger is very real, but fear is a choice.

You have chosen wisely. I don't own a saber yet, but Saberforge is the best in this business. You should look at that FAQ, another thing to do is keep checking out the forum. There's plenty to do here. Some great reviews on saberforge to watch on youtube are done by Shameem Moshrefzadeh and Jordan Moll
Light and darkness, you cannot have one without the other. To achieve equilibriem you must be in harmony with both; the path between.
