TOPIC: Would like some opinions.

I have narrowed down the options of my first saber to Standard finish Green Acolyte, Standard finish Indigo Acolyte, Weathered finish Indigo Acolyte or Standard finish Green Consular. I have been thinking about this for awhile and can't make up my mind.

Out of those, I would be inclined towards the Consular. I just love that saber!

I personally like the acolyte as I have on order a fury that is weathered. I think both of the sabers can be wielded with two hands, but the acolyte looks slightly longer for this. The consular looks pretty good also though. I like most of their sabers with some weathering which I feel the acoclyte really looks good with. I dont know if these point help you much though.

The consular's 3 large chokes by the emiter are super comfortable to wield with one hand, however the covertech gets in the way of a two handed grip though that's an easy fix, I've also been looking at the acolyte/ disciple to send back and get a custom done with so I think you'll be pleased either way you go

I think the appropriate questions to ask : Which one grabs your attention more? Which one is the one you keep wandering back to when you second guess yourself?
It all boils down to personal preference at this point, so which one is the one that shouts for your attention the loudest? Which one grabs your attention by the ears and headbutts it repeatedly to make sure you're paying attention? Go with that one. |

We can give technical advice all you want, it all boils down to: which one catches your eye the most? For me, it's the Disciple in the Apprentice range. But for you, it's up to you mate

Thank you all for your help I have decided to get a standard finish warrior tier green acolyte. Mainly because i think green goes with the standard finish better and i wanted my first saber to look kind of shiny and new. when and if i get another saber ( If, only because getting the money for a saber is very difficult, i plan for my next one to be a kind of dark Jedi style and at my age i have to start thinking about college. ) it will be indigo.

I will say, as a former weathered Consular owner, it looks awfully badass. Doing a weathered consular in Indigo would be pretty great, I think. |

I was thinking of getting a ASP saber but the price of the consular is a lot less money, hmm more choices but i will think that though when the time comes. |

CONSULAR!!!! haha I just love that saber, but both are great. I wanted my first to be shiny and new too, so my PS definitely got that treatment. Someday tho I'm going to have to get a weathered hilt, they're just so dam awesome. |
