Yeah. Please don't post non-reviews in review forums, guys... there's even a stickied topic about this very thing.
Also, Etsy sabers are pre-built and offer fewer customizations. This basically means that the hilts themselves (including finish) are build using SF's standard specs. They are not pre-assembled and waiting on a shelf for someone to walk in a purchase; they're still in need of finishing work and assembly and installation.
Currently the Etsy order progress is like this: You place your order, and your order falls into line. When your order comes up to be put into production, it's switched to shipped status (this is normal) and your order is sent to a tech, who then reads your build, and assembles the saber, installs the electronics, and sends it down the line. From here it goes to our shipping department. There, they look at the order, note any extras (belt clips, stands, etc) and package everything up and slap the label on the box. Next time the USPS van shows up, it gets loaded in and taken out. This sounds very quick, but keep in mind that while this is happened to YOUR order, it's also happening to roughly 1-200 other orders at the same time with a team of 15 or so people. That's why it takes a bit. The wait time is mostly just waiting for your order's turn to be built and sent out.
Hope this helps clarify some points for you guys.
