I'm not an LED expert. :P I would like to know how long do the 12W / 12W+ LED are designed to last? From what I can read, the answer seem to vary from at least 6,000 hours to upward of 50,000 hours. :woohoo:

Wow, that's a life time ! 8 years = 24 x 365 x 8 = approx. 70,000 hours!

Depends what's meant by '8 years', is that 8 years of general use (on/off, wear & tear, charging etc)?
Or indeed 8 years of continually being left on!?
