I'm thinking about buying a single Descent lightsaber now and after a while buying another Descent with the connector, to create have a saberstaff. Here is my question: can I do that? Can I just buy two lightsabers with appropriate connector and then just screw them together when I want to have a saberstaff and unscrew them when I want to have two seperate sabers? Or do I have to buy a complete saberstaff?
Can I also swap blades? Lets say I buy two of them: one 32" and one 37". Will I be able to easily swap them? Probably yes but I prefer to have a clarification.
I've seen some pictures comparing 12W LED and 2 6W RGBA LEDs and I have read the extended faq. However I was wondering if some of you guys could post some more pictures for comparison. I'm trying to decide whether I should buy a Champion with a single 12W LED or Hero with two 6W LEDs or maybe Hero with two RGBA LEDs. Which one will be brighter?

A coupler will connect both your sabers directly. If you get a spear extension I believe you need a coupler because from what I Have seen, the spear extension has a side for the saber and its pummel. Please correct me if I am wrong, here are ways I believe the staff spear connects. I don't have any but I have been looking it up.
Saber=coupler=saber
Saber=spear extension-pummel
Saber=spear ext=coupler=spear ext=Saber
I am sure you can swap blades especially from the same saber. 32in is the staff length and I prefer that length over than the standard 37in. I personally will be requesting 32s and 26 shotos lengths from now on. I think 1 37in is enough.
here's a 6w monarch rgba review with all the colors.
Here's a 12W+ custom phoenix
