Just got a notification that my saberlok has shipped, whooo hoo!

I'll post a review of it here when I get it.

Please do! I'm curios to see what people think of them and how they compare to a standard covertec clip.

Ya I can't wait, seems like they should be pretty good.

The guy at darklyte posted them on etsy on the 3rd of November and as of the 15th he had already amassed just under 100 orders....

I got one to try it out, and then ordered a couple more since I want two to stay on my Jedi belt and one for everyday carry. :cheer:

You can order with belt slot length in 1/4" intervals. The standard belt slot width is 1/4" as well. If you have a thicker belt you can ask him to do that in the order comments.

He answers questions quickly, so if you have a special request you can check if he can do it through Etsy before ordering.

Hope somebody makes a video review of them. Been thinking about ordering those, instead of the covertech.

They came in!
Here are some pics.

They are very solid, made of a resin material, well painted and constructed.

They come in 3 colors, I got 1 black and 1 brown, you can mix and match as well on his easy page.

I'll post a full review when my saber comes in :P

Darklyte, an etsy vendor, makes an alternative to the covertech belt clip.

The CT belt clip is plastic and clips on to your belt, which means it can go on any belt or pair of pants, but it's a little bulky and tends to pull away from your body, in particular if you have a heavy saber.

This is a much smaller profile, comes in more then just black, and doesn't require buttons to release the saber, u just move it to the side as you pull it out.

They cost about 5-10$ more then a CT clip, depending on where u get the clip, but worth it I think.

I was checking these out as well. Does it hold the saber in place well? I like that these are made out of Kydex and have no moving parts so it should last forever. Thanks for posting the image. I may pick one up just to try.

Darklyte also makes some pretty killer custom stands.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

I've had one of these in black for about 2 weeks now. Just got my saber today so now I can check it out and see how it performs.

I forgot to post in here again...

So the saberlok is really well made, and holds the saber quite well.
It sits really close to the body so it doesn't "lean" out away from you and is very sturdy, I have no fear of my saber falling out or anything like that.

The only issue i have with it has more to do with my saber then the saberlok itself, since it does sit so close due to the low profile, I have to put my saber in sideways, simply because on the Black Lotus saber the Pommel is huge and the cover tech knob is literally up agains the pommel, so the pommel gets in the way unless i turn the saber sideways to slide it in, not a big deal really.

THIS. My vengeance has the t-grips sticking out...so there actually only one angle to get the knob on there. Like you said, really not that big of a deal.
