Does anyone know what it takes/costs to get a different LED installed in a saber without quick connects?

Got a red venom the other day and don't like the color. Sent it in to get the LED swapped for a purple LED.

Does anyone know if this is covered by the warranty and if not, then what the cost would be to swap out the LED?

Its best to email and ask them.
It's not really a warranty defect.
perhaps they may simply charge a small rate for the time taken to replace it and not for the LED itself considering they're removing and keeping the red. So it's not like they're losing an LED. But since I can only speculate, as I said. Best to email and ask them to get a precise reaponse.

i recommend the same as Nebosa above

it might be possible swap led colour but like said earlier ask just to be sure

There are so many colors I like it was worth it to be to order my sabers with the quick connects (after all I spent an extra 40 was east to justify)--especially knowing full well I'd want to make changes later. I have yet to get my sabers but I have no doubt I make the right call. I would say if you have even the slightest inkling you might want to make a change--spring for the quick connects.

When I sent mine in for a minor repair, it was on its way back to me within a week.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

^What Brax said. To save time they don't communicate during the repair but average turnaround is about a week (+/-)

Returns timeframe is 3-5 business days.

Unfortunately the warranty does not cover, for lack of a better term, "I don't like it" issues, so the cost for a new LED would be $35+5 for labor, as we just sell you a new LED and install it. Or $40 for one with quick connects, and ship it to you.
