Uh-huh ;)
Got myself the General grevious lego kit. It's just a great design.

I was lucky enough to work at a place called 'comet miniatures', which was a 40 second walk from my front door! We stocked model kits and everything sci fi you could possibly imagine. So my Christmases never passed without something star wars. I remember being there when Gerry Anderson did the grand opening and have a photo of it. They shut though recently and it's now a paint store, so haven't had my usual SW fix in a long time.
What with my saber 17 weeks and counting , still a way off yet, I'll make do with seeing TFA a few times. :)

I have the widescreen versions of the PT and OT on my wishlist. Just hadn't felt the need to update them until Episode VII rolled around. But I don't expect anything else Star Wars related.

Not necessarily for Christmas, but there is another saber in my near future. Which one will depend on a few factors that (I hope) should be happening in the next few weeks.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

I have the new DK Force Awakens Visual Dictionary and Cross Sections books, and the black series Chewbacca on mine. And probably after xmas I'll finally pull the trigger and order my first saber...I'll be deciding until the last second.

have the new DK Force Awakens Visual Dictionary and Cross Sections books
I got the cross section and art book for TFA. Compared to the other SW art books the TFA one is all over the place, Lucas infamously kept a tight reign on the art team and it looks like Abrams had a much lighter hand.

.... Nothing really on my list other than things that aren't available yet from the forge....

Anywhos, Merry Christmas/Winter Solstice/Happy Hanukah/ Happy Kwanza/Merry Festivus/etc. etc. etc. too ya'all too!

After TFA and purchasing a saber for my wife, a saber for two of our best friends, and getting the Rey's Speeder lego kit and a bunch of TFA Pop! figures from my secret santa at work, my wife has FIRMLY informed me that I am not getting any Star Wars stuff for Christmas.

But I do have a birthday coming up. :)

As a man in my mid 30s I don't ask for or request anything for Christmas and my birthday I make an even lesser deal about.
I'm a fairly humble man with many appreciations so anything someone gifts me I am grateful and pleasant for.
The thing I find with my 'wants' are that they are far too expensive to ask for as a gift from someone in my family. No one's going to buy me the Lego 10240 (The nearly 2' long Red 5 X-Wing). No one is going to buy me a lightsaber or anything else like that. So I do what I do; and throughout the year, if I have some disposable income I will buy it then and there and not wait for my birthday or a consumer driven 'holiday'. We have a tree up and a few presents for the smaller kids. But there's no more exchanges for us older people. We give our gift of time as we truly do not know how much of it we have and spend it with our loved ones.

As h2soy put it, happy (whatever holiday you choose to recognize based on your religion/upbringing). Enjoy, stay safe and may the Force be with you all.

Hi all,

A Christmas Television Viewing heads up, if you are in the UK or are able to access it there is a program on Channel 4 (Dec 26th, 8pm GMT) called "Inside Lego at Christmas" and I saw a black and orange X-wing and a First Order Shuttle Craft! There may be more to see, I don't know, thought I'd let you guys and gals know!

Well, I did get that Lego Slave I (halfway through the build, fantastic so far), along with a weird surprise.

Apparently my brother and mother ordered 'custom' lightsabers for my brother and I. They're unfortunately from Ultrasabers, so my first saber experience isn't going to be from Saberforge (a bit of a bummer).

But a saber is a saber, and since I have no idea what's coming, I'll have to wait and see. I will be posting reviews on the sabers when they arrive, if that's okay.

That's kind of bittersweet for you Eddlyss64. Still, nice of them to acknowledge your passion and get you something. I'm sure you can upgrade in time to a SF.

I got the lego Grevious for myself some time before Christmas. Great design and kept me occupied for a few hours.
Eager to hear what your saber turns out like anyhow.
