Hello all !

One simple question that is basically the title :
Could anyone owning both Green and Lime Green blades post a single picture of the two in daylight and another in the dark ?

Don't get me wrong, I did search on the forum and online before asking, and I did find pictures and videos of each color. However, every one of them were taken under different circumstances and we all know how unreliable those cameras are. I think that taking a single shot of the two colors at the same time would be a great way to avoid this camera-adaptation problem and compare the two.

I am currently waiting for a Lime Green saber, which I actually asked SF to change after initially picking a regular green. Watching the reviews of the famous YouTube reviewers Shameem Moshrefzadeh and Jordan Moll in which they both admit preferring the Lime Green ove the regular one made me want to rely on their experience. But now, with the waiting process you've all been through, I am obviously starting to get crazy and doubting of my choice

It's a toughie, unless you want to go quick connects..

Hi all,

I've just checked the ROTJ duel on Youtube and the blade varies in colour throughout but as I have mentioned in other threads the technology to create the blades isn't perfect and other light in the shot can affect the applied colours of the saber.

If anyone has heard of Adobe After Effects this is the type of software used to put graphics on top of news channels, and LucasFilm use a similar process to "Paint" the blades onto the shot. The image beneath the blades sometimes show through slightly especially if bright enough. Motion blurring also complicates the issue. Try to look at the blade when it is motionless.
