The more I look at it the more it grows on me. Would love you see an unweathered version. Can't wait to see the others :cheer:

Oh, crap, wait!

The Acolyte-'ish one, the Oracle. I'd LOVE to see a pic of that!

Can you buy sabers directly at the showroom?

Dang, the showroom is only 40 min from my house. Do you know anyone that has done that? I can drive there and come home with one of the sabers they have on display? So I reckon I would be at the mercy of whatever their selection was at the time?

I would totally drive there and probably even compromise on the exact saber I want if I don't have to wait 2 months...

Dude...are you still here?

If I lived within 3-4 hours of that showroom i'd be there no questions asked. They have so many designs that I love, i'm sure they'd have one there that I'd be happy with. This is literally the only product I would ever buy that takes months to get after paying. Its kind of bizarre. There is clearly a huge demand for high quality light sabers...and not the garbage hasbro is putting out and charging 200 bucks for. You'd think someone would come up with a bigger business model to do what Saberforge is doing but with far more employees so that you actually might have a hope of getting your saber at least within a week or two. Maybe Saberforge will expand operations in the future (i hear they are now?) to the point where these astronomical wait times are unheard of instead of the accepted norm.

Probably.

Their goal is to get wait times on etsy to 2 weeks and website down to 3-4 weeks once all their expanded operation are running and all their new employees are up to snuff.

Yea the Hasbro and even the saberZ and ultrasabers look like plastic crap compared to saberforge. I already put in an order, but it was only a few days ago so I reckon I could cancel it or modify it if I find something there I like. I'm totally going this week!

Bigger business model = manufactured items, and suddenly you're right back to Hasbro.

Smaller business model = custom, hand-made items... and oh. We're already doing that. ;)
