Hey party people. I'm looking to grab a nice graflex saber with some bells and whistles, but I'm not exactly sure if Saber Forge is the place to do that. I see that on saberparts.com you can build it, but the site doesn't seem to be selling anything yet (even though the main site is saying preorders have started). Have they ever sold a graflex in the past? When would I be able to purchase a graflex through saberparts.com? What are my other options for acquiring this saber?

Adaptive Saber Parts isn't available to the public yet. You could preorder with it by pledging on its indiegogo campaign, which ended on Dec 31st. As I understand it, after the preorder sabers are done and sent off, ASP will make its way to the main site for public orders eventually. Yes, the Graflex is one of them. I don't know if that will be on the main store as well in the future or not.

Gotcha. So at this point, if you haven't already pledged, there is no way to preorder. Correct? Is there an ETA as to when it will open to the public?

Not officially, but popular opinion is a full website overhaul including ASP by the end of January.

Interesting. Well I can be patient to find what I'm looking for. I mean, this does sound like my best bet to grab both a graflex and my own custom lightsaber. Right?
