Iv been wanting to get a new LED for my Champion Guardian, which has a QC green LED already.
I want a 12+ red, but I was wondering if it's possible to use a 12+ in it, since they weren't out when I got my hilt, will it still be able to take it? Probably a stupid question but I know absolutely nothing about electronics so not sure if my current electronics are able to power it. Also, if I buy a few different 12+ LED's with QC, will they be compatible with the ASP system when that's released? Or will that have a different casing or something? |

Hi Ian O,
From what I have read the 12W+ should still work on your hilt as long as it can support the normal 12W. The difference with the 12W+ is that the dies (Lighting elements) are mounted closer together within the module so the light flows through the lens more efficiently making the blade brighter and more even in colour. As ASP will use Plug and Play technology (Quick Connectors) then I imagine the modules will still be compatible (as long as the saber isn't longer than the connecting wires, that is). Ohhh I see that's awesome then, looks like I'll be ordering a red LED then
 Hmm hopefully he standard wire length they give for a QC will be log enough to connect to the ASP system Thanks for your help
