Now is actually the perfect time to buy a saber. With Battlefront and Knights of the Fallen... there's a lot to keep you occupied and distracted :P

I'm so excited to get my Venom and my Vengeance you guys have no idea!!!

By the way I noticed that there's not too many video reviews of the Venom or the Vengeance (none of the Vengeance, actually) so I think I might make my first Internet video EVER and try reviewing them!

As Grandpa used to say, "Patience is for those who have no other choice but to wait." :P

Since grousing about it won't change a darn thing, except to maybe make SF so mad that they will wire your saber to self destruct when it is turned on (

I would add that, when confronted with a situation where no amount of effort, or vocalization will affect the slightest bit of change - accepting this, and settling in for the duration is one of the (better) definitions of patience.

Most of our strife seems to come from not accepting that there is nothing to be done, and manifesting anxiety or anger about it.

I suppose that would depend how you define accepting. I have seen people acknowledge their fate and still not take it gracefully. I have seen some people call that acceptance and others disagree. At least by my definition accepting something and accepting it with dignity and grace are two different things, the latter to me is surely patience, the former can be, but isn't always, patience. Not that I am saying you are wrong, just that my INTP mind often requires a more exact definition of word and terms.

Honestly, at first, the wait sucked but now it's kinda a part of the fun. In this day and age we get spoiled by how quickly everything moves, it's refreshing that for once we are forced to wait, and for something so special too!

Truth. When I was a kid the standard ship time for anything was at least 4-6 weeks for standard items if is was something crafted you could usually at least triple that, depending in the item of course.

Why Etsy orders are processed more quickly than orders from the site?

kidMam, have you read the FAQ?

It's a pretty long post, but it is most helpful. As a matter of fact, the answer to your question can be found there.

But here I go. Etsy orders are processed quicker than the main site orders for one main reason:
- Main site : you get to choose the hilt, and the customisation to a finer level of details and your saber is made according to your exact specifications as soon as your order has been placed. Which means that the hilt is hand made for you;
- Etsy : the hilt already exists and it allows for less (or is it fewer? real grammatical question here for the native speakers) customisation possibilities. Which enables a faster lead time overall.

Please go and read the FAQ ;)
1. You are looking at my signature.
2. Now you think "Of course I am, you bloody idiot!"
4. You did not realise I skipped bullet point 3.
