Hello everyone! So I am planning on ordering a new saber for SF and it's either gonna be the arbiter of consular but I can't decide. I was wondering if anyone has experience with spinning and dueling with both and I am thinking about yellow or Amber but also can't decide. I also know that I will be getting the champion with a light side font and weathered. I'm kinda going for a gray Jedi feel. If someone can please give me an idea on how they both handle with a 32 inch blade that would be great. Thanks!

Well, the FAQ would tell you that it is all up to personal preference. However, I'd say that it's all up to aesthetics at that point. They both seem to be great for spins and dueling, so it's all up to you on which you like better in terms of looks.

I own an Arbiter and love it! I think it's very comfortable for spins and can be used well with either a single handed or two handed grip. I haven't dueled with it yet so I can't give any opinion there, but many people who have seem to think it works rather well.

While I don't personally own a Consular, I did buy one for my nephew and gave it a few quick spins and swings before sending it off to him. I think it is the shortest hilt SF makes if I'm not mistaken, so it's good if you have small hands or like using mainly a single handed grip. I did find it very comfortable for the short time I used it.

I think either way you'll be happy, it really does come down to personal preference. Let the Force guide you and you won't go wrong.

I had the same debate when i was trying to decide on my first blade. I wound up settling on the Consular because i like the "windowed" look.
Blades:

1. Consular yellow

So I was able to do some dueling last night at Saberforge Academy and can confirm that the Arbiter is a more than qualified dueling hilt. Very comfortable and easy to switch between a one or two handed grip.
