Another point to think about is that if you place a new order today, the lead time is several weeks anyway, which by then 12w+ should be fully in place when your saber will be built and shipped.

I am sure that if you place an order today, the lead time will be several weeks, which by then 12w+ will be the normal issue (assuming you select and pay for what is labelled as "12w" right now). The fact that 12w+ is "currently unavailable" does not matter for your saber because your saber is not currently being built. I think this is the difference.

I have an ASP saber on order through the KS so this doesn't affect me, but things like this are running rampant. We've had at least half a dozen threads over the last two weeks with this exact issue. SF really does need to get either it's updates finished to the site or put out an official can/can't do for people who are ordering currently. From people not reading the faq, to people receiving opposite information it's clogging the forum with excess posts that are accomplishing nothing.
As it is I don't think the email times have been decreased either as I'm now at three weeks without a reply. That's my own problem though but it's incredibly frustrating to keep getting responses from different sources, including a reply from whomever runs their FB, that just says keep emailing their sales email when that's the email that I haven't heard from. |

I paid for the 12W+ upgrade on my saber in early November and I was just told that my saber would be rushed into production next week because of some issues that had delayed my order. I hope they won't forget the upgrade.
