KenobiWan Offline New Member Posts: 11	So I was once again looking at the redeemer and I realized there is a button on the side below the kill key. Is that the activation button? Or is it just the second button for the hero tier? And would it be there if I got it in champion edition? P.s. Hopefully you guys see this with all those spammers.

corey2002 Offline New Member Posts: 9 Thank you received: 1	its the activation button but only the sabers with sound (champion, hero) have kill keys, if you get a saber without sound (initiate, warrior), i believe the kill key is replaced with a purely decorative button (compare the warrior tier pictures of the disciple to the champion pics)

That could be the aux button, and if so, I don't know what it is replaced by on the tiers that don't have it. But everything I've seen on the Redeemer lately shows that the box is where you turn the saber on. EDIT: I believe it's just a dummy switch when it's not an aid switch.

The identity of this button was discussed in your other Post (about a week ago) titled "Which Hilt and Colors??!"

It is also referenced, () an on-screen pop-up description will occur about 1.37 describing it.

To re-iterate, Activation is via the Switch Box. Active Brass Kill-key/Recharge Port (where applicable). Button questioned= Faux/Dummy. Older (original) version had this button as activation and was since changed. From Initiate/Warrior/Champion Silver button is still a dummy. In Hero Tier (as I do not own a Hero Tier version or have successfully found review videos to verify) I can only speculate that the dummy button would become the Aux Button.

Yeah, I was referring to my Exhalted in response to JackDonn's comments about how sweet thin-neck sabers are. One day, I do plan to own a PS, and a Redeemer as well, but there are many sabers higher on the priority list first.
