A lot of art projects. People will use it to make everything from small sculptures or stands, all the way up to furniture.
And while it won't work now, if you live in a desert area that has tumbleweed, you can sell those online too. |

Lots of good suggestions made already, is there such a thing in the States as restocking shelves at the local supermarket? Paper runs are likely obsolete these days as virtually everything is online and the demand for newspapers in black & white just isn't there. Another alternative for 'young' enthusiastic people wanting to earn money is being a dish-pig, i.e. dish-washer-up-erer at a local eatery. These are popular starting places over here other than Brax's suggestion with starting at home with chores and various duties around the house. Parents are typically more generous when it comes to pay rates than actual employers too.

You can restock shelves, however depending on what state you live in (I am in California) you have to be a certain age before you can work. Here you have to be at least 16 to have a job.
