Many ways to save up. Heck $20 bucks for a birthday or Christmas really adds up if the job things is out of the question.

One thing to consider would be looking at the ASPs. You could get individual pieces at a time and build you own custom saber like a real padawan, plus it makes a good story.

Alternatively, find a local saber wielder near you. Personally speaking, it can be hard finding a sparing partner even when you have several sabers.
