So out of the blue today I got an email from saberforge titled "Re: Indiegogo Campaign"

My heart jumped and i started freaking out imagining that they were telling me my ASP saber shipped. I opened the email and find:

Thank you! We have your order!

May the Forge be with you!
Melissa

Hah! Well not quite what I was expecting, but still...it makes me wonder: Is this just pure coincidence and they really just randomly decided to send me a reply telling me that they had gotten my ASP parts list that I emailed in over a month ago? Or does this in some way signify that they have "come up" to my number and are checking the details of my order to get it moving through the system?

I'm willing to bet its just the first and that this is purely a random courtesy reply now that they are caught up on emails. Although they never did get back to me on fixing my major account issue that I've been waiting to be fixed since the day I first registered here. As a result, I've been stuck using this secondary account with this dumb "jbeem" name that I never use (its just my first letter of first name and first 4 letters of my last name) and worse, its tied to a secondary junk email I made up just to get an account here to ask for help about my first account that didn't register properly!

Ugh.

Sorry, I had to vent a bit there. Its strange hearing that they are all caught up on emails when my issue was pretty much just swept under the rug.

Anyway: It would rule if this email meant something. But it probably doesn't.

Anyone else get similar emails?

Nah, sorry. Now that they're caught up again, though, it shouldn't hurt to send a new email about your account.

Yeah they are just confirming that they received your list of parts. I got that same email from Joshua right after I sent my parts list.
No matter what happens now, you shouldn't be afraid. Because I know today has been the most perfect day I've ever seen.

Thats what I would assume but doesn't it seem strange that you got yours right after your email and mine literally took a month to the day to get a confirmation reply?

Oh well. It was fun to toy with the hope that this might have had some greater meaning like the fact that my ASP order was now being put together. A fella can dream.

If I'm wrong I'd be almost as pumped as you'd be.

Remember you'll get a tracking number. Then check it every day until it pops up as in transit.

Oh i've got awhile before i'll get a tracking number. I'm only on 6 weeks and 2 days for my regular order. This email was in reference to my ASP saber. Or do you mean that when our kickstarter or indiegogo order ships out they'll send us a tracking number?

I hope when someone finally gets their ASP order shipped out or hears anything about it they come on here to let the rest of us know how the process is working. I'm betting that won't happen though. I don't think many saberforge customers actually use this site very much. We seem to be a pretty small friendly group :P

It means that we got behind on confirming orders and are working on getting caught up as ASP orders start moving into production. Need a seamless transition from Kickstarter to IndieGogo orders being shipped.

Ooooh, this sounds like so good news. You've certainly piqued my interest. Glad to hear things are actually moving forward from the last update of ASP news.
Light and darkness, you cannot have one without the other. To achieve equilibriem you must be in harmony with both; the path between.

What if I never got a confirmation that my configuration was received? I've checked my spam folder and promotion folder (gmail). I'm not worried, but just since the topic came up, thought I'd ask.

Hey Anorris, its probably coming to you soon. I remember when you first started posting around here (unless you were just on a long hiatus when I joined). I'm fairly sure you jumped in on a pledge a few days after I did. Or at least you started talking about it/asking questions about it after I had already pledged mine. So if they just got to me, they should be coming up to your email soon.

I'm just guessing really but that makes sense in my mind given what Knytiri said with how they are catching up getting through the confirm emails.

Edit: and thanks for the clarification Knytiri
