Just depends on what they were able to design for the rebel. As this is the first I've ever heard of this issue, it honestly doesn't seem to be very prevalent.

I just would like to say "the fact that emitter shroud is removable doesn't mean they can't use screws for retention of LED." Anyone who has Rebel hilt will be help for you.

The rebel, from what I understand, doesn't have much of an emitter shroud like the reliant or fury. It's a space/availability constraint, due to staying as close as possible to the screen accuracy from Rebels as they could while still making it their own design. So it does make sense that they might not be able to put in a LED retention screw, and could be using C rings to hold the LED in place instead. C rings are usually very, very stable once in and it takes a lot to get them out. My guess is that when it was shipping, it got cold, constricted, and vibrated its way lose. Unfortunate, but not disastrous lol. Anyway! Hope they get back to you soon with a fix.

Easy to understand why they had to find a different solution looking at those... Also, cause I forgot to mention earlier, the tool Nebossa mentioned was the one I was trying to think of but totally had a brain lapse in remembering what it was called, lol. So, thanks for catching that one!
