Our local Marcus allowed sabers and costumes on Friday night, so those in our group going out to the movie who had outfits wore them, and we decided to take our various hilts into the movie but leave blades in the car.

After the movie, though, we were all in the mood to have a little fun and burn off some energy, so we decided to grab our allen wrenches and get to work!

(Funny story - I totally didn't notice the police cruiser behind us until I saw the pictures 24 hours later!)

That is what sabers are made for, and I can think of no better excuse to do so than just having seen TFA!
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

That sounds like so much fun. This got me wondering, though:BZArcher wrote:

How long does it take to install/remove the blades?

Maybe 15 seconds. Just a couple twists of the key to loosen the set screw, slide the plug out, side the blade in, and lock it back down. No trouble at all!
