Hello, I'm a prospective first-timer and I was looking (and dying of awesomeness) at the gallery of different hilts, and there were four I was drawn to: Grand Master, Epoch, Sinister Prophecy, and Reliant. Now, I'm not a professional dueler, nor do I plan on dueling competitively any time soon, but I have my own kind of style I like to use, and I tend to change hand positions somewhat often. I was looking for a saber with a hilt just big enough for both hands, and that I could just as easily one-hand. I am also interested in hearing about the leather grips, and how comfortable they are, and whether it's better to get one with a leather grip, or without. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Out of the four sabers you were speaking of, the only one that I think is good and light enough for one hand is the Reliant. I'm sorry that I can't tell you about leather grips since I don't own a hilt with a leather grip. My favorite saber is the viper, the one in the picture.

Like, Tanto Standard Finish Hilt, Hexagonal Imperial Cog, Brown Leather Grip, and Crimson soundboard. My first-time one is going to be just for messing around with my friends and dueling for fun.

I'm not sure if I should wait and see, or if I should just get one within the next week or two.
