Good Afternoon Everyone.

I received my first saber yesterday and i am in love. It is a Acolyte Champion Tier with a Lime Green 12W LED. It is fantastic and I love everything about it. It was well worth the long wait. I have one small complaint and I hope it is easily fixed. I don't exactly like the Lime Green. I ordered that color thinking that it was going to be a darker green. When I ignited the saber much to my dismay I realized that it is far too yellow for my taste. So I decided order a new 12w standard green LED with quick connects. Now in theory this seems like an easy swap out but because this saber is now my new coveted item I have my qualms about fiddling with the wires no matter how easy it has been described and might seem. My question is, does anyone have any videos or pictures doing an LED Quick connect swap? Any visual aid would be extremely helpful but on an Acolyte would be preferable. Second does anyone have any tips about this conversion? Concerns, ideas, or any thing worth noting? Just nervous because this is my first time so any help and advice would be much appreciated. One last thing. i ordered the new LED yesterday. The lead time of 6-8 weeks is for the sabers right? Or will I have to wait 6-8 weeks for the LED as well?

Many Thanks to all.

I think lead times vary on ordered products, but I ordered an indigo LED through their ETSY store and it took a solid 3 weeks.

As far as swapping out the quick connect LED's, results vary on that as well. In theory it should be easy, and is in practice, but stuffing those tiny wires back down inside can be problematic, considering there's no way to organize them so they just kind of bend every which way and get pinched. I personally think there must be a better system for this, but I'm not an engineer.

The bottom line is that you'll probably be just fine swapping out your LED. It was why the quick connect was designed in the first place. It's as easy as pulling out the LED module, disconnecting the quick connect, connecting the new LED, stuffing it back in, then tighten the retaining screw. DONE
