One of the LED's in my 6W LED module is developing quite the brown spot on it. I believe it is overheating as the whole saber after say, 15 minutes of being on is getting really hot, almost too hot to touch. Has anyone else experienced this? Normal, not normal? Added pics.

Thanks.

It happened to me before, and it is not normal. Probably a wiring problem of some sort. I wrote to Saberforge when it happened to me and they told me to send my saber back since this kind of thing is warrantied. If I was you, I would shoot them an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Explain the problem, add pictures if you feel the need to, and wait for them to answer. It might take a few days for them to answer. Don't worry, it's normal.

Once they do, they will tell you how to proceed to send your saber back, etc. Everything is gonna be alright. Again, this is not normal, yet not uncommon.

Thanks Revan, figured as much. I sent them an email previous to this actually :-). Their response time has been really good (2-3 days for me) considering how busy they are. I've had absolutely no reason to complain about anything in my dealings with them so far, even this considered. With as many sabers as they crank out, there are going to be flukes here and there.
