So hi everybody. I'm kinda new to the saber scene and have become hugely addicted to it. Ive purchased 3 sabers from saberforge and built 4 of my own, going onto #5, which is what brings me here.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the 6w LED specs for the saberforge unit. I'm currently installing my first nano biscottie sound board and to keep things simple I was going to use saberforges pre-resistored LEDs. I know the 12w would require a pex hack but I don't feel my skills are at that level yet. The full setup would be a 3.7v li ion 18650 3400mah, recharge port, nano biscotti, and hopefully a SF 6w yellow LED.

Basiclly as long as the 6w unit is below 2amps (this is the max for the nano) it should work just fine.

Any info would be appreciated as there seems to be little to no information on using SF leds in custom builds.

There is a great thread in this topic called "DIY Soundboard Breakdown". It includes a lot of helpful information, including the answer to your question. And that answer is yeah, 1000mA (or just one amp) the most current that people generally use to drive these LEDs. I hope, anyway, otherwise I'm going to look like a fool.
