Yes they do use a c-clip to hold it in place, but the lack of a quick connect option also has to do with the fact you can't just slide the LED out the emitter; you'd have to take the saber apart to get to it. So my guess is that they use the c-clip instead of a retention screw is since you won't be just sliding the LED out anyway, why put an unnecessary hole in the body?

Used a blow dryer even to the point you could not touch the saber with your hands, and still would not budge. Don't have anything close to a vise where I could clamp the body, and even so I would be to scared to scratch it. Will try to insert the C-Clamps with something long, like chopsticks. Any ideas?

I know the snap rings I picked up for TCSS will fit in a body but are too big for the grenade section. I also know SOME LEDs are threaded at the top and can be screwed onto the bottom of the neck section...but I believe this is ASP only.

It is actually the same snap ring size as the one that keeps the speaker grill in place. I have some snap rings on their way. Will have to confirm which one worked best for me once I get them.

Thank you. I purchased some snap rings from TCSS. They fit in the body of my redeemer but not the grenade section. Maybe going down a size would work for both applications. The Redeemer and Exhalted should have the same grenade section.
