Hey,
is it possible to commission different 12w LEDs arrangements? Like for example: RBBA or RGGG and so on? In addition is it possible to get them with quick connects so I can swap them in and out (for a hero edition saber)? Any answer will be highly appreciated! Best regards, Marco |

I believe that can be done by the Custom Shop - someone recently mentioned Justin did a customized LED for his crossguard hilt.

Hello Marco, I believe that any custom LED outside of the ones being offered by Saberforge would need to go through the custom shop to be done. A moderator should be able to confirm this. I recently had a custom cross guard done with a Red, Red, Red-Orange, Red-Orange and it came out exactly as I wanted. I live in germany and dont want to go over a third party.
Best would be if I could just commission the LED how I want it, of course I will pay extra... That was my question... Since the hero edition offers two 6w options if I would buy like Blue and Amber there will be two blue dies and two amber right? So it might be possible to get BBRA or BRRA or something like that must be possible? I could then manipulate the settings of the spark color via the config editor and get a purplelish main blade (BBRA) that uses all 4 dies and an movie authentic FoC by just using RA, thats my plan...  I WANT FULL POWAAA SIDIOUS BIRGHTNESSSSSS  Think its possible? I believe the blood orange uses RA so that might be possible? |

Marco, I think there's a bit of confusion.
When we mention "the custom shop", we are talking about Saberforge's own dedicated customizing team which is lead by Justin Polachek, one of their best saber artisans. You can see many examples of his work in the forums here. That means Saberforge is creating the LED / design and it would be warrantied by them, not considered a third party job. |

Oh okay, im sorry BZArcher.... duh
 I thought "a" custom shop, like the TCSS... Thanks! One last thing do you think I can get full bright purple with an orange FoC if I choose: 6w Royal Blue (BB) and 6w Blood orange (RA) or 6w amber (AA) = Main BBRA or BBAA (mixing blue and amber) = purplelish? And for the FoC RA or AA? Dont know what color I will get if I mix blue with amber and or orange...? I would not have to commission an LED if that would be possible Thanks in advance, Marco

Hi, Marco!
To answer your question about the FoC LED's, if you mix a purple color with an orange/yellow color - according to color theory - it should become a red. So, you'll have a purple saber that'll FoC red. But, since you're adding colors, it'll become a pale red/pink. I like to use THIS wheel to program professional lighting. Draw a straight line between the two colors you're mixing, and the center of that line should give you an idea of what your final color would be. I hope that info helps! |
