Here are a couple of SF blade plugs that I have modified. I wound copper wire through the holes and drilled out the center and added an insert from a compression fitting, which to my benefit come in silver and brass finishes. I wasn't sure how the copper wire would look in the brass plug in terms of clashing, too much shiny? I think they both turned out decent for a 2nd and 3rd attempt at it.

Plugs are showcased in champion tier hilts from the SF Customs division. A 12w+ Red Mauler and a 12w+ Deep Blue Vigilant.

Even though you want to; don't look directly right at it…

I think I've nailed the process, but I'm not sure what I'll put them in or use them for.
I might use the weathered one for a Yoda that I'm waiting on. The brass one I probably won't be using at all, it was more of a test run lol. I did it just to do it.

I think it looks good with the brass; it has kind of a steampunk vibe to it.
