First of all, I need to say that this order was one of a kind for me: The order status changed from Confirmed to Shipped two days after I placed my order (on their website), which is amazing! I never requested anything special! Guess they had a few extra Acolytes to spare, and I got lucky! No matter why, I feel both lucky and pampered!

Now for the review itself! I decided to buy the Acolyte because I wanted a cheap good looking red saber for my Darth Revan costume! I wasn't expecting what I received: A piece of art! This saber is both affordable and beautiful! I chose the warrior tier because, just like I said, I wanted something cheap! However, I went for a 12W, since I feel more comfortable playing with one battery than 3 (I also save money on batteries).

Pros:
- It's very light!
- It's as solid as the other SF hilts
- It's comfortable, no matter if you decide to wield it with 1 or 2 hands (Perfect for dual wielding or to make a staff)!
- The new blade plug is both small and beautiful
- The bottom of the saber is easy to unscrew
- The hilt comes in with already two holes, perfect if you want to give it an upgrade later!
- Even in the absence of leather grip, the saber offers a descent grip!

Cons:
- The bottom of the saber is very thick! Dropping it on the ground would leave a deep mark!
- The covertech knob is a little bit high on the hilt, restraining the space you have to use both hands!

This saber is, in my opinion, perfect for cosplaying and for dueling! If you want an affordable saber that looks great and that is easy to manipulate, don't look any further: The Acolyte is for you!

On a rate of 1 to 10, I give the Acolyte 10/10! I don't regret my decision of taking an Acolyte instead of a Consular. In fact, I think this is one of the best decisions I ever made about buying lightsabers! I've got some pictures for you guys! If you have any questions about the hilt feel free to ask!

I always hated purple lightsabers haha, but once again it's a question of personnal taste! 501st members recommended me to take a purple saber to make Revan Reborn... And I went like: Nooo?!

I just got my Acolyte 12W red weathered in today! I am in love. I did have a concern and maybe you can help me figure out if it's legit. On my gladius the blade goes into the hilt much deeper than on the acolyte. On the blade the retention screw makes a mark jut over 2 inches from the bottom of the blade. On the acolyte the retention screw mark is at just half an inch. Kinda makes the blade wobble a bit. Is yours like that or is my LED not seated correctly?

No need to worry my friend! Depending on the hilts, the blade is gonna enter deeper in the saber! This is just a question of how the hilt is designed! To give you an idea, it's the same thing on my Reliant and my Guardian! However, blades are going much deeper into my Viper and my Guardian!

My blade goes the same deepness, but it still feels solid. I hit it against stuff all the time and it's fine
