This was my first SF saber, ordered it nearly three years ago now. It started as a simple stunt, and has been through three different upgrades (base red stunt -> rechargable stunt + rebel deep red LED -> NBv1 -> NBv2 + rebel deep red x2 w/white FoC).

Sloofum is my main Sith character saber, and has seen the most use out of all my sabers. The weather has for the most part worn off completely (back then it wasn't clearcoated). Here's what it looked like the day I got it.

And some more cell phone camera glams:

As someone who has only been aware of SF's existence for just under a year, seeing pics of older SF designs is really cool. Thanks for sharing!

The quality of SF sabers three years ago is still better, in my mind, then what some companies are putting out right now.

That's mostly why it's been my go-to saber for costuming and choreo, even when I had multiple Ultrasabers before it. This saber has drawn my blood multiple times too. Even back then the edges were sharp on everything. My only nags about it when I first got it was the switch (cheap plastic latching switch that tripped off easily) and that the bottom sections (the lower end holding the pommel and the inner connecting tube) were only held in place by set screws that would wiggle loose on occasion. I replaced the set screws I lost and made sure it was tight and haven't had problems in a good two years.

That's a wicked looking saber I love the simplicity of the claws at the top. Are there many discontinued SF sabers over the years?

Awesome saber looks like it got some real use, looks like almost all the weathered finish has been worn off do to years of dueling. :cheer:

I can think of a few different models that were dropped a couple years back. I remember at least a stormtrooper saber design, tonfa sabers, a desert warrior saber, and a couple others. I wish that the WayBack Machine archived images along with webpages. Maybe if Phil has time for a side project, a gallery of older models would be kinda cool to see.
