Oh, the Amber was definitely on purpose. All of my sabers are some iteration of Orange. It's my saber color of choice for sure!

I do plan on getting some better pictures here soon - busy week end ahead of me, so I'm not sure when that'll happen.

The Justicar is an amazing hilt - I've been thinking about adding some soft weathering to the grooves of it.

When I get pictures for my Sith Cosplay, I'll be posting them in the Cosplay thread. Thank you for all of your kind words!

I've also heard that the SF Yellow that they mix is as true a solid Yellow as possible - I've heard from many Yellow owners that it's like the Crayola crayon Yellow. So if you're wanting yellow - Get Yellow. Haha ^_^

I have not yet ordered my lightsaber because I vacillate between just the Amber and Yellow.

Yellow is just the classic color for a Jedi Sentinel, Jedi Shadows are indeed a sub-category of the Sentinel. But because the Jedi Shadow are closer to the dark side of the Force as are other Jedi, I find that a gold-yellow or orange-colored tone is more suitable than pure yellow. It shows the narrow tightrope walk, which the Shadow must go through in order to stay balanced.

But I love Bastila Shan's Lightsaber color. In some pictures there is a mix of orange and yellow, just an amber color as the gemstone and Amber SF comes the closest.
